Group Guitar Lessons in Vernon

Join us for beginner group guitar lessons at Vernon Christian School on Thursdays from 3:15-4:15. Come early to get set up so we can start our lesson at 3:15.

We will do a 10 week lesson session starting on October 9 until December 11. The cost is $200 for all 10 weeks. Don’t have a guitar? - I can provide you with one. All music is included as well. The cost can be paid by e-transfer to julie@wormald.ca

During our lessons we will learn to read music (rhythm and melody lines), learn to play chords and strum along to some of our favourite songs as well as reading tab. Each student will go home with music and a list of things to work on for the week. We will learn in a way that is fun and inspiring so kids will want to go home and play what they have learned.

My name is Julie and I have a Bachelor of music and education. I’m a certified BC teacher and have been teaching music for over 20 years. I love teaching music, especially group guitar. I’m originally from Ontario and spend my summers there running a camp. Here is a bit more about me if you are interested.
